Site is going down.

From the "dissatisfied" Dept.

Hi guys.

I'm going to be taking my site down. I've grown completely dissatisfied with it over the past half year, and every time I try to do something about it, I'm interrupted by the daily doldrums of life.

So that is it for now.

I'll tell you guys when I'm ready to come back.

From the "If only my job was this good" Dept.

Now this is a cool job: Lego Master Builder.

<sigh>

I'm only an Information Architect.

Tired; Long Drive

From the "Driving" Dept.

Drove to Detroit and back today for a meeting. Tired.

From the "Thanksgiving Weekend: Algonquin" Dept.

Win and I are probably going to do a 30 Km hike (2 days, 1 night) through the Algonquin Highlands.

Freeze our asses off, hike 15 Km a day and be back before Thanksgiving dinner.

Sounds like one hell of a holiday.

From the "iBook woes" Dept.

My battery in my iBook holds about 25 minutes worth of charge. Time to get a new battery.

Cheers,

Tai

Sick; No blog

From the "Too sick to blog" Dept.

I've been feeling under the weather the past couple of days. Haven't had the energy to write anything in my blog for a while.

I'm working on Recaps to my trip to Chicago last week for the "User Experience 2003" conference.

Highlights include an absolutely amazing two day seminar hosted by Janice Fraser and Jeffrey Veen (author of The Art and Science of Web Design) from Adaptive Path.

Other's include pictures of Donald Norman and Jakob Nielsen. Met a lot of interesting people, hooked up with Dave (a meal at Spagos and a show at the Admiral Theatre), may have even scored a job offer.

Needless to say, it was nice to meet my peers in the industry. It was good to know that I am fundamentally sound, and that I am definitely doing good work at OnX.

Cheers,

Tai
