Weekend Review: Birthday Bash!

From the "Quarter Century Club" Dept.

Hello All,

I was stuck with my Project Manager, George, in Windsor, ON. It wasn't the most thrilling 2 and half hours of my life, but let me tell you: Windsor is an ugly city.

People often say that travelling is "cool", but not when you're travelling between Toronto, Windsor and Detroit, MI. I mean, it's not like I'm travelling somewhere glamorous like Paris, France.

I do pass "8 Mile Road" every time I drive to Auburn Hills, MI. Small consolation though.

Looks like I'll be there this Thursday and Friday.

But on with the Weekend...

Jen turned 25 on Saturday. We began the day by coming getting to the Canadian Stage Production of "Boy Gets Girl" -- a rather gripping drama about the psychological consequences of stalking. The "Boy" Definitely "Gets" the "Girl" in this play.

Not to trivialize the subject of the matter, but the play was rather funny at times. Almost too much comic relief in my opinion. However, I thought that the play was well acted, and was a definite improvement over such bombs as "The Beard of Avon" and "Vinci".

Saturday night was an all-out Thai Food event at "The Golden Thai" Restaurant on Church St.

Some time at the Bier Market and a night out at the Docks Night Club to Celebrate Nirvan, Jen, Thomas, and Garry's Birthday. Thanks to Brian Cho, we were able to get VIP room. How Posh.

Fun Night, great people.

Cheers,

tai
